Davis Cup Ziggo Dome

About the project

On the 12th to the 14th of September, the Dutch Davis Cup Team played against Croatia at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. This promotional duel results in a place in the World Group. Especially for this event, an indoor gravel court was laid. On the first day of construction in Amsterdam, the lighting was hung and one day later, the court (comprising 80,000 kilos of gravel) was laid and once this was in place, no work could take place above the court. On the final day of construction, the camera platform, large screen and the sound system could be installed. When the final ball had been hit on Sunday afternoon, the final job of the weekend started. We were given until 04.00 hours on Sunday night (so approx. 10 hours) to tidy everything away.

In cooperation with the KNLTB (The Royal Dutch Lawn Tennis Association), Production World was responsible for the technical and logistical production of this event.
